Our campus for little ones is founded on big ideas.

Situated on seven acres, Jackson Primary opened in the fall of 2007 as a remarkable renovation of the Tuxedo Park School, which had served generations of Atlantans since 1956. With impressive state-of-the-art and aesthetic upgrades throughout, the campus accommodates nearly 320 children attending kindergarten and 1st grade. There are 19 active classrooms, each one outfitted with computers that use the Linux Operating System and interactive whiteboards with LCD projectors. Other areas include a gym/auditorium, professional stage, art room, music room, drama room, French room, media center/library, facility space for speech, ESOL and other special needs students, a spacious cafeteria and a beautiful outdoor green space. In addition, other building and technology enhancements were made as part of a second renovation that was completed in late 2009.

Beyond the rustic setting, forested classroom views, and lush class gardens, students also enjoy the school's expanded playground which is uniquely equipped in size and ability towards younger children. In sum, Jackson Primary gives younger students their own space, offering a special transition before "graduating" to 2nd grade at our Main Campus, just down the road.
