	Buy it or bring it…. just don't sling it. Breakfast and lunch are served daily at Jackson's sprawling cafeteria, with fees as follows: Breakfast: $0.75 Lunch: $1.75 Adult Lunch: $3.00 Fees may be paid in cash or through MealpayPlus, an online prepayment system (see link below). Checks are not accepted. Calendar menus are sent home each month for food on-site (see link below). Or, students can bring lunch from home, with the following parameters: no glass containers, canned soda, or packaged fast food (like Chic-fil-a or McDonald's). The fast food restriction isn't necessarily due to health concerns, but more importantly, state law prohibits having competing food sources in public school during lunch time. And while we're on it, here are a few Jackson laws when it comes to cafeteria conduct: • Speak in conversational voices • No yelling • No running • No disrespectful behavior (food fights included) • Recycle when you can • Chew with your mouth shut Just kidding on that last one - although it does make for nice manners.
