		We Really Kicked it up at Jackson’s Biggest Fundraiser A chorus line of showgirls and guys were busy behind the scenes planning Jackson's biggest fundraiser and largest PTA event. Themed Paint it Red at the Moulin Rouge, the 2009 auction was held Friday, November 13 at Park Tavern in Midtown overlooking our very own Le Jardin des Tuileries--Piedmont Park. The 2009 auction committee, headed by co-chairs Hilary Bell, Kerri Griggs and Leslie Meshad, secured amazing auction donations including a painting by celebrated artist Steve Penley, fabulous vacations and much, much more. Proceeds of $106,000 from this bi-annual fundraiser went back to Jackson to purchase Primary playground equipment and fund needed technical support for our school. It was a fun night out on the town for a great cause! Auction night is one Jackson tradition that continues to deliver great turnouts, high-end cuisine and drinks, spirited camaraderie among parents, teachers and guests along with well-earned funds for our school.
